Position Summary

Under the direction of manager, sells retail merchandise to guests and maintains store’s cleanliness in accordance with Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Greets, acknowledges guests , answers guests’ questions and assists them whenever possible
  • Recommends, selects and helps locate or obtain merchandise for guests
  • Processes sale with appropriate point of sale system, accepts payment, counts change and bags merchandise
  • Follows all register procedures and handles cash accordingly
  • Exchanges merchandise for guests and processes returns, with approval of supervisor
  • Ensures that all merchandise is correctly labeled and displayed.
  • Routinely stocks merchandise and faces items on shelves.
  • Verifies amount of bank at beginning and the end of each shift.
  • Maintains a clean and organized store or stand.
  • Maintains orderly back-stock and knows where goods are to be found.
  • Sets aside and notifies supervisor of defective, mis-marked, mislabeled, incorrectly priced, shopworn or damaged merchandise.
  • Watches for and recognizes security risks and thefts and reports to security and management
  • Completes all related close-out paperwork.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

Job Description

As a part of the Little Caesars Arena retail team, you can take a shot at putting your customer service abilities to the test! Retail warehouse workers are expected to assist the retail department in serving many excited fans.

Warehouse workers will act as porters and assist in the transport of products from the warehouse to specific locations prior to and during events. It is also expected that warehouse associates assist in tracking inventory and stocking product in the retail warehouse Because teamwork is a major part of our company's service philosophy, retail warehouse associates may also have the opportunity to assist with other designated tasks, as needed.

Position Summary

Under the direction of Retail Manager, oversees store operations and provides direction to retail associates in accordance with Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervises retail associates; completes store operational needs by assigning employees and following up on work results.
  • Trains to, and maintains retail standards, policies and procedures
  • Opens and closes retail locations as directed by management
  • Responsible for daily cash procedures and operations
  • Monitors store floor, assist with guests needs and requests
  • Regularly evaluates, creates, and maintains professional visual displays; provides direction to retail associates regarding store merchandising and displays.
  • Ensures integrity of physical inventory and par levels
  • Participates in monthly inventories in main store and satellite locations
  • Maintains cleanliness and safety standards throughout the retail shops
  • Performs duties as assigned

Non-essential Functions:

  • Performs retail cashier duties when needed
  • Assists management with scheduling of staff

 

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum one year supervisory experience in a customer service and/or retail environment preferred
  • Previous cash handling experience required
  • Previous experience working with point of sale (POS) system required
  • High school Diploma or GED required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate with staff and prepare written reports
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan ahead.   
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Basic math skills; ability to accurately handle money and count change.

·         Willingness to aggressively sell assigned items.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

·         Ability to stand for entire length of shift

·         Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently

·         Bending, reaching, climbing on step stool

  • Visual acuity sufficient to see and distinguish merchandise and operate point-of-sale system

 

Environmental Working Conditions:

  • Majority of time spent in indoor, climate-controlled environment of retail store
  • May also be exposed to partially sheltered outdoor environment subject to climate fluctuations.
