Tampa Sportservice / Delaware North is now hiring part time Action Station Food Servers.

AMALIE Arena in Tampa, Florida was recently ranked second in the United States (fourth in the world) by Venues Today magazine.  Located in the heart of Tampa Bay, the Amalie Arena is Florida’s premier entertainment venue and home of the 2004 Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning and Five-Time Arena Football Champion Tampa Bay Storm.  With a variety of configurations, it’s an outstanding venue for concerts, conventions and family entertainment.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Action Station Food Servers are responsible for a variety of duties including:  replenishing food stations with pre-made dishes (for example, our Tapas Station), working the carving stations, manning an active cooking station (preparing ravioli or tacos to order for guests), greeting and providing excellent customer services to guests.  This is a non-tipped position @ $12/hr.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Participates in set-up of action station, arranges inventory, notifies Supervisor of any inventory deficiency or shortages
• Greets guests approaching station
• Prepares and serves food and beverage items in correct proportions, following proper sanitation guidelines according to Company standards and specifications
• Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, adhering to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Records all waste.
• Acquaints guest with items for sale and uses suggestive selling techniques
• Performs clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment.
• Rotates to other stations when necessary.
• Reports to work scheduled events on a timely basis.

  Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Company’s Blue Ribbon Service Standards
• Ability to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service training
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple table assignments at one time
• Strong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 6 months - 1 year previous experience in food & beverage service, or related guest service environment, required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds for set-up, service and cleanup of functions
• Ability to stand or walk for entire length of shift; may include walking up and down stairs

POSITION SUMMARY
Under direction of the Alcohol Compliance Supervisor, this position is responsible for ensuring the responsible service of alcohol throughout the entire building, including training and supervision of personnel in accordance with Company’s Alcohol Policies, Blue Ribbon Service and Operational Service Standards


RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervises the serving of alcohol by employees
• Ensures employees serving alcohol are adhering to the alcohol service policy, ensuring responsible alcohol service
• Observes and documents any alcohol related issues
• Answers questions and makes recommendations regarding alcohol service
• Assist employees with alcohol related issues
• Assists with alcohol cut-off
• Perform other tasks as assigned

POSITION SUMMARY
Assist the Bar Manager and Supervisors in maintaining inventory and delivering product orders to various bars, in accordance with Company’s Blue Ribbon Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Stores, maintains and delivers stock items throughout the facility, in an efficient and timely manner
• Adheres to company policies concerning alcohol procedures

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Receives drink orders from patrons or servers.
•Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures.
•Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons following standard recipes and using company standardized proportions; serves wine and bottled beer or draws draught beer.
•Enters drink orders into cash register, collects payment from patrons for drinks served and makes correct change.
•Completes Daily Bar Sales Report accurately
•Maintains bar stock by ordering or requisitioning liquors, beverages, condiments and supplies.
•Cleans and stores bar equipment and bar stock

•One to two years previous experience as a bartender in a high volume environment preferred

Position Summary:

Job Summary:

The Concession Stand Manager must adhere to high food quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction. Product quality, portion control, food waste and sanitation are areas that the Concession Stand Manager must be aware of and implement while operating and supervising the concession stands and the concession attendants. The Concession Stand Manager is responsible for product inventory, paperwork, and stand employees’ production. This person will ensure that the greatest customer service is being offered by all employees during the event. The Concession Stand Manager will count product in the beginning and at the end of the shift and report any discrepancies in the inventory control.


The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled and some non-event days per business need.

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for keeping accurate inventory for all product before and after each event.
• Responsible for maintaining quality and production standards on all menu items. Food must be fresh and of high quality when served to the guests.
• Responsible for keeping the highest level of customer service from his/her self and all employees that he/she is supervising.
• Ensures that all work areas and equipment are clean, food products are properly stored, utensils are clean and put away and floor is swept and mopped at end of shift. The Concession Stand Manger must be checked out before ending the shift by the Floor Level Leader to ensure the concession stand meets cleanliness standards.
• Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
• Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.

Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations.

• Attention to detail, ability to follow job procedures and supervisors' instructions
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport boxes and materials up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work long and irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
• Average shift is 10 hours in length
• Ability to walk, stand, and climb stairs during entire shift

Experience:

• Experience working as a supervisor or management in a fast food or high volume restaurant or stadium or similar experience is required.
• Willingness to handle and serve all varieties of food (including, but not limited to poultry, pork, beef, dairy, etc.).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supports the Pastry Chef in preparation and execution of desserts, breads, pizzas and other items
• Weigh and measure ingredients, using measuring cups and spoons.
• Mixes ingredients to form dough or batter by hand and/or electric mixer
• Rolls and shapes dough, using rolling pin and cuts dough in uniform portions with knife,
divider, cookie cutter.
• Mixes and cooks pie fillings, and pours fillings into shells and tops
