As an IT Administrator at Columbus Sportservice, you will contribute to the growth and profitability of the business, with oversight of the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all technology and point of sale equipment for retail and food and beverage.

Your performance will be evaluated against these critical areas:

·         Decision Making & Problem Solving: ensure technology issues are addressed timely, mitigating any disruption in service, selecting the best course of action and ensuring that the problem is resolved, and is documented to prevent future recurrence.

·         Compliance: ensure all systems meet current standards for privacy and functionality

·         Guest service & quality: staying passionately committed to providing fast and high quality support for customer needs; communicating the need and commitment for delivering exceptional internal and external customer experiences

·         Leadership: proactively maintain/backup systems, act as point of contact for home office and outside vendors related to systems currently in use and roll-out of any new systems.  effectively directing the work of others; developing talent, managing performance of direct reports through goal setting, continuous feedback, performance coaching and performance evaluation

·         Resource Management: ensure POS terminals and replacement parts are available to support the service levels and standards set by the organization while being fiscally responsible and communicating recommendations for new equipment as needed. 

We are seeking candidates with a passion for guest service and previous experience with point of sale systems, network infrastructure and providing end-user support.  Candidates with exceptional decision-making and leadership skills, integrity, high levels of energy and enthusiasm, that can build relationships and has a get the job done attitude, will be considered for this unique opportunity.  This is a part-time position, schedule will be dependent upon the Nationwide Arena event scheduled, evenings and weekends are required.  The hourly wage will be $16-$18 per hour, based up on experience.

Non Profit Organizations - Fundraising Opportunity! - Columbus Sportservice/Nationwide Arena (Columbus, Oh)

The contracting out of our concession stands to non-profit groups for fundraising purposes is a community service that benefits both the non-profit organization and Delaware North Companies Sportservice. Delaware North Companies Sportservice is one of the largest providers of quality food and beverages to professional sporting teams. We employ and provide fundraising opportunities to thousands of people and organizations nationwide.

Our fundraising program is a great way for highly motivated non-profit groups such as yours to raise funds while providing quality service to the fans at Nationwide Arena. Non profit groups have used this opportunity as a way to raise the much needed funds for equipment, supplies and activities. Our Concession Stand fundraising programs build teamwork and character amongst your volunteers.

The group must supply the required number of adults to run their assigned concession stand properly. All fundraisers who work in the stands must be 19 and older for the purpose of selling alcohol. These fundraisers must understand that they will be required to work hard and present a positive image befitting a representative of The Columbus Blue Jackets and Delaware North Sportservice. All volunteers must wear the Sportservice uniform and attend all orientation and training classes required by Sportservice.

In return for your group's work and effort, Sportservice will donate a commission based on gross sales, minus applicable sales tax and any shortage that may occur.  Commission percentages vary by commitment level.
