ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Receives drink orders from patrons or servers.

* Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures. 

* Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons following standard recipes and using company standardized proportions; serves wine and bottled beer or draws draught beer.

* Enters drink orders into cash register, collects payment from patrons for drinks served and makes correct change.

* Completes Daily Bar Sales Report accurately

* Maintains bar stock by ordering or requisitioning liquors, beverages, condiments and supplies.

* Cleans and stores bar equipment and bar stock

* Performs opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned

* Performs other duties as assigned 

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Washes and sanitizes glassware

* Prepares and replenishes appetizers and/or garnishes as needed.

  

 EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

* One to two years previous experience as a bartender in a high volume environment preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

* Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards

* Ability to complete required pre-employment alcohol service training 

* Basic math skills, with ability to accurately total guest checks and make correct change.

* Possess basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names.

* Verbal communication skills; listening skills with ability to take beverage orders and fill those orders correctly.

* Able to work all events (nights, weekends, holidays)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Ability to remain standing for entire length of shift

* Constant walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions.  

* Ability to lift stock up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Job Description

As a part of the Little Caesars Arena fine dining team, you can take a shot at putting your culinary abilities to the test.

Buffet attendants are responsible for stocking food product served in buffet locations. Buffet attendants must be knowledgeable about offered food items. Buffet attendants are expected to adhere to food safety and guest service policies. Experience preferred. 

This is a part time, seasonal position. Looking for candidates 18 years of age or older experience in culinary arts, preferred. Candidates should be available to work all events.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Prepares food to specifications before and during unit operations.

* Properly measures and portions all food items. Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures.

* Cooks all food to proper specifications in a timely manner.

* Utilizes kitchen equipment to prepare food items such as: knives, slicers, whips, pots, pans, warmers, steamers, grills, ovens, etc.

* Ensures proper food temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly.

* Ensures freshness and quality of all menu items.

* Packages all products to proper specifications 

* Performs opening, closing and side work duties as instructed and according proper guidelines.

* Keeps workstation and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.

* Follows and upholds all health codes and sanitation regulations.

* Sets up and operates kitchen equipment

* Uses waste control guidelines and records all waste on spoilage sheet.

* Performs other duties assigned 

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Completes end of day inventory and other opening/closing duties in accordance with company checklists and procedures  

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

* High school education is desired; participation/enrollment in culinary program a plus

* Minimum of 6 months- 1 year previous experience in back-of-the-house foodservice position preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

* Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations.

* Washes dishes, glassware, pots, pans, flatware and kitchen items, using dishwashers or by hand.
