ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Receives drink orders from patrons or servers.

* Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures. 

* Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons following standard recipes and using company standardized proportions; serves wine and bottled beer or draws draught beer.

* Enters drink orders into cash register, collects payment from patrons for drinks served and makes correct change.

* Completes Daily Bar Sales Report accurately

* Maintains bar stock by ordering or requisitioning liquors, beverages, condiments and supplies.

* Cleans and stores bar equipment and bar stock

As a part of the Little Caesars Arena fine dining team, you can take a shot at putting your culinary abilities to the test.

Buffet attendants are responsible for stocking food product served in buffet locations. Buffet attendants must be knowledgeable about offered food items. Buffet attendants are expected to adhere to food safety and guest service policies. Experience preferred.

Internships: Any Internship
Concessions Intern-Detroit Sportservice-Comerica Park - Detroit Tigers (Detroit, MI)

The Internship program is for students interested in working in our Sportservice operations. Opportunities are available in Concessions. You will participate in either an internship or co-operative program, working at our operations at an hourly supervisor level. You will have the opportunity to get exposed to our business, develop your management skills, and determine if you would like to pursue a career in our industry. The program will consist primarily of on-the-job training, complemented with some online training programs.

Once you are placed in an internship/co-op program, your performance and progress will be reviewed on a regular basis by the unit management. Those students that are successful in their first season will be invited back for the following year.

Upon Graduation from your respective college or university, you will be considered for the permanent position with the company. The level of the position will be dependent on your performance and the operational needs of the company. The individuals that participate in the program and obtain placement with the company may be promoted into a higher level management position over a 1-3 year period, provided they demonstrate excellent performance.

Your Role: Sportservice interns will be expected to perform duties as assigned by his/her direct supervisor, as well as the required functional responsibilities of the position, which may include: Supervise the activities of assigned food service or retail personnel; schedule employees; ensure quality of employee performance; handling disciplinary matters. Assist in preparation of various accounting functions and operational reports: help to maintain cash and inventory control. Maintain positive customer relations; ensure that high service standards are met.

Our Expectations: We are seeking highly-motivated, hard-working individuals with a genuine interest in a management career in sports and entertainment. Knowledge of food service and/or previous experience in a food service environment is preferred; excellent oral and written communication skills. General Summary:

Accountable for Team Store Operations and oversees and provides direction to level supervisors on implementation of Retail Programs, Policies and Guest Path Standards.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees operations of Team Store and Tiger Town including Staffing, Merchandising, Displays to maximize sales and profits.
  • Develops schedules and staffing plans for all stores. Submit to Retail Director for final approval.
  • Maintains retail standards and policies through level supervisors.
  • Provide direction to Level Supervisors with In-Store Merchandising and Displays.
  • Works with Level Supervisors to develop and implement Customer and Employee Promotions; Daily/Monthly.
  • Recommends slow sellers for markdown actions.
  • Communicates Retail Guest Path Standards, Communicates corrective actions as needed to Level Supervisors.
  • Assists Level Supervisors with the development of Employee Relations, Corrective Counseling’s, Training Programs and Training to the Gaps.
  • Provides assistance to Retail Operations Manager with Invoicing, Receiving, Transfer and Inventory as needed.
  • Maintains consistent/effective communication with Retail Director, Retail Operations Manager, Level Supervisors and Associates.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary, but not limited to, by the Retail Director.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of merchandising techniques and retail operations.
  • Knowledge of cash handling and credit card handling policies and procedures.
  • Ability to train personnel.
  • Ability to effectively communicate on all levels of hierarchy.
  • Effective verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (i.e. weekends, holidays, evenings).

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma required; Associates degree in retail or related field, preferred

  • Previous experience using computerized POS system required; previous experience with Micros POS preferred.
  • Knowledge of RetailPro system, preferred

 Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain on feet for entire length of shift.
  • Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions.
  • Ability to lift, balance and move items, weighing up to 35 lbs.
