Missouri Sportservice is currently looking for qualified applicants for various positions for the upcoming 2010 Football season. Below is a listing of positions available with a detailed description of each. Please indicate your area of preference on your application:

Bartenders:

This position offers experience in bartending in a safe and professional environment. The starting pay rate for this position will be $7.44/hr. Ideal Candidates must have strong verbal communication and a professional demeanor. Prior bartending experience is required for this position and you must be able to pass a short bartending test. Candidates must be self- motivated and be able to stand for long periods of times. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
 

Beer Vendors:

This is an entry-level position that offers experience in selling products throughout the seating area. This position is paid on commission basis + tips! Ideal candidates must have strong verbal communication skills and maintain a professional demeanor. Candidates must have a strong voice in order to market and sell the products. Candidates should be able to lift and carry 25 lbs and walk up and down stairs. Candidates must be well-groomed, friendly and efficient. They also must have basic math and money handling skills. Candidates must be at least  21 years of age.
 

Novelty Vendors:

Candidates will be responsible for selling fan merchandise during events at the Edward Jones Dome. Ideal candidates must have 1-2 years sales experience. Retail Experience is a plus. Candidates must be able to interact well with customers, gain product knowledge about the items that they are selling, and be able to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to consistently lift 30-50 lbs. We are looking for professional, motivated individuals with excellent communication and follow-through skills. This is a commission based pay. Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
 

In-Seat Servers

This is an entry-level position that offers experience in customer service by taking food and beverages orders from guests in special seating areas.  Ideal Candidates must have strong verbal communication skills and maintain a professional demeanor.  Candidates should be self motivated and be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Also they must have basic math and money skills. Waitress experience is a plus. Candidates must be at least 21 years old. The starting pay rate for this position will be $6.42 per hour plus tips.

Stand Attendant -
Work six and one half, fast-paced hours per event. Sell various products to our guests in our concession stands. Must be well groomed, friendly and efficient; have basic math skills. Involves standing for long periods; also lifting, bending and stretching. Must be 21 years of age or older, and money handling experience is preferred.

Team Store Clerk -
Hours worked vary per event.
Must be pleasant, friendly and well-groomed; must have basic math skills and money handling skills.
Must have general knowledge of retail sales and able to learn to operate the cash register system.
Must be 16 years of age or older.

Concession Supervisor -
• Pay Rates devised per department and experience
• Hours worked varies per event of 8-10 hour shifts

Vendor (Food) -

• Walk through stadium selling various products or sell retail items from a cart.
• Must be well groomed, pleasant and friendly; have basic math skills.
• Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs.; have a strong back and legs to walk up and down stairs.
• Have a strong voice to market and sell your product. Money handling experience is preferred.
• Food and Retail Vendors must be 16 years of age or older.

Earn commission percentage on product sold.

Inseat Server -
Under general supervision, takes food and beverage orders from guests in the Diamond box seat area. Must be able to have a constant pace up and down the steps in order to maintain efficient and quality service. Must be 21 years of age. Reports to work scheduled events and is at the Pantry on a timely basis. Performs various assigned duties.
 

Our company requires payroll to be processed through Direct Deposit/PayCard access only.

The group works together in a concession stand selling hot dogs, beer, soda, nachos, and other menu items.
The group is responsible for all money handling and stock inventory. Shortages will be deducted from commission.
Each group must be a charitable, not-for-profit organization and must have a federal tax ID number. (This is different from the state of Missouri exemption of Missouri sale & tax on purchases & sale)
Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age. No one under 21 will be allowed to assist in the stand.
The number of volunteers required to work in a stand is 12.
Groups who show up with at least ten volunteers will be guaranteed to earn at least $250.00 (minus any cash and inventory shortages that may occur)
Each group is required to work at least four (4) events throughout the baseball season.
Each group will earn 8.5% of the net sales for each game worked, with the potential for additional earnings through our bonus program.
Volunteers must attend a 3-hour orientation session.
Uniform: solid black pants or shorts, belt, group hat or Sportservice hat and Closed toe and heel, rubber soled shoes and Sportservice shirt.

TEAM STORE CLERK/CASHIER  at Busch Stadium, St. Louis, Missouri

•  Hours worked vary per event.
•  Greets and acknowledge guests, answer guests' questions and assists them whenever possible.
•  Must be pleasant, friendly and well-groomed; must have basic math skills and money handling skills.
•  Must have general knowledge of retail sales and able to learn to operate the cash register system.
•  Must be 16 years of age or older.
•  Processes sale with appropriate point of sale system accepts payments, counts change and bags merchandise.
•  Maintain records related to sales.
•  Ensures that all merchandise is correctly labeled and displayed.
•  Routinely stocks merchandise and faces items on shelves.
•  Verifies amount of bank at the beginning and the end of each shift.
•  Complete all related close-out paperwork.
•  Recommends, selects and helps locate or obtain merchandise for guests.
•  Rotates to other areas as needed.
